BardecodeFiler users may well be interested to hear that there is a new release available for download. The new version has 2 much requested new features:

Timer

Enable the Timer, set your interval and leave BardecodeFiler to eat through the files that arrive in the input folder.

Folder Creation

The new version of BardecodeFiler can create folders as well as files under the output folder. This means you can store file paths in barcode values and let BardecodeFiler put them straight into the correct location in the file system, creating any part of the path as it goes.

For example, say your barcode contains the data “clients/S/SMITH INC/1234”, then BardecodeFiler would create a file called 1234.TIF (or PDF) in the folder “clients/S/SMITH INC” (under the output folder).
